It seems like Tecno will be launching the Tecno Phantom X very soon. In the past, we have come across a Tecno phone with model number “AC8” certified by FCC and the label on the bottom of the phone in the FCC document reads Phantom.
This shows that it is Tecno Phantom X that got certified. The FCC sketched design of the Phantom X revealed a triple camera at the rear with a volume and power button on the right side. We also learnt that it will come with a 33W fast charging, 4,600mAh rated battery capacity, and 4G enabled.
Now the live images and key specifications of the Tecno Phantom X has appeared ahead of launch. The live images revealed that the Phantom X will come with a triple rear camera and a quad led flash at the rear.
The display is a curved display with dual selfie cameras up front in a pill-shaped cut-out. As for the specs, it will come with a 6.7-inches OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Since it will come with an OLED display, we can expect to see an under-display fingerprint sensor this time.
Phantom X will be running on Android 11 with HIOS version 7.6 user interface. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset which uses an Octa-core processor clocked at 2.05GHz, paired with a Mali-G76 GPU.
The phone comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. At the rear, it has a 50-mega pixels main camera, a 13-mega pixels sensor, and an 8-mega pixels sensor. On the front, it uses dual 48+8MP selfie cameras with dual flash. The rear camera uses a quad flash.
What will be keeping the light on is a 4700mAh battery capacity that supports 33W fast charging. It measures 163.5 x 73.8 x 8.7mm. Kenya is likely to be the first country where the Phantom X will be unveiled, the company has started teasing the “X” moniker on their social handles.
