Oppo will launch the Oppo Reno 6 series smartphone very soon. The smartphone has been appearing on several certifications authorities recently. Even a leakster has revealed that the phone will break cover on May 22 this month during the company’s Mid-year Gala event. The series is expected to include the Oppo Reno 6, Reno 6 Pro, and the Reno 6 Pro +.
The latest report is that the Reno 6 Pro has bagged the National Broadcasting Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) certification. NBTC didn’t reveal its specifications but only the model numbers. The Chinese variant has PEPM00 while the global has a CPH2247 model number. This certification suggests that the smartphone will be launched globally very soon
It is true that NBTC didn’t reveal its specifications but thanks to TENAA certification, we were able to see what this device will come with. The TENAA certification shows that the Oppo Reno 6 Pro will come with a 6.55-inch AMOLED curved edge display that offers an FHD+ resolution. It will also come with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, we expect the Mediatek Dimensity 1200 chipset to be powering the phone. It may offer 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone will come with a quad rear camera. The main camera will be a Sony IMX766 50-megapixel camera. There will be a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 2-megapixel camera for depth effects
On the front, we can expect to see a 32-mega pixels selfie camera. What will be keeping the light on is a 4500mAh battery capacity that supports 65W fast charging. Oppo is yet to confirm or tease the Reno 6 series. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
