Redmi launched its first gaming smartphone in April ending in China. The smartphone is dubbed the Redmi K40 Gaming enhanced edition. As you might have already told, this phone shares many similarities with the standard K40 Pro. The smartphone is also said to debut in India with the Poco F3 GT moniker.
So the Redmi K40 Gaming enhanced edition launched in China will arrive in India as the Poco F3 GT. But what of people outside India you might ask? Well, the global users might have a chance to buy the phone. This is because the smartphone has been spotted on the Google Play Console listing.
The smartphone is listed as Redmi K40 Gaming on Google Play Console. This means that it will arrive in the global market as the “Redmi K40 Gaming” instead of the Redmi K40 Gaming enhanced edition in China. As usual, the play console listing revealed some of its specs.

The play console revealed that it will come with 8GB RAM and powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. It also shows that it will be running on the Android 11 operating system. These are the specs revealed by the play console. However, the device had debuted in China so we know its full specifications.
It will be coming with a 6.67inches OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G chipset which has an Octa-core processor clocked at 3.0GHz, paired with a Mali-G77 MC9 GPU.
Redmi K40 Gaming is running on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5, assisted by 128GB 6GB RAM, 128GB 8GB RAM, 128GB 12GB RAM, 256GB 8GB RAM, and 256GB 12GB RAM. The rear houses triple camera sensors. The main camera is 64MP, there is an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera.
The fingerprint scanner is located on the side of the phone and what is keeping the light on is a 5065mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
