Oppo launched the Reno 5 series in December last year and now, they are planning to unveil the Reno 6 series. The Oppo Reno 6 series will include the Reno 6, Reno 6 Pro, and the Reno 6 Pro Plus. We have heard and seen the specs leak of these smartphones. The Reno 6 has even bagged several certifications which confirmed its specifications.
The latest report revealed that the Reno 6 series will break cover on May 22 this month during the company’s Mid-year Gala event. This was brought to our notice by the guy behind @stufflistings on Twitter. He revealed that the smartphones will debut on May 22 during Oppo’s Mid-Year Gala event. @stufflistings also shared a screenshot of a Weibo post that backs the possibility of the smartphone debuting on the said date.

The Reno 6 was seen on the 3C certification platform. It revealed that the smartphone has the model number PEPM00 and will support 65W fast charging. Speculations point out that the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. They said it will use 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Recent reports revealed that it will run on the Android 11 operating system based on ColorOS 11.1 skin. It is also expected to have a 90Hz refresh rate. The Pro model is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. It will have 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM. Note that these specs are not confirmed yet. It is advisable to take this information with a pinch of salt. We expect to learn more about this device before May 22.
