There is a report that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Z Flip 3 in July this year. We don’t know how true that is because Samsung has not made any comment regarding this. But recently, the promotional video of the Z Fold 3 leaked alongside the Z Flip 3. The video was quick to be deleted but thanks to netizens who were able to take a screenshot of it.
The promotional video screenshot of the Z Fold 3 reveals the design and hints at an under-display selfie camera. We heard in the past that the Z Fold 3 will come with an under-display selfie camera and the thing has started to be getting true. We have already revealed the images and features of the Z Flip 3. So let’s dive into the Z Fold 3.
Galaxy Z Fold 3 to come with an under-display camera
Samsung has been tasting the under-display camera feature for a very long time. It is now a bit clear that they will make use of it in their upcoming foldable device. The screenshot taken from the promotional video shows the text “ It’s the first foldable with an under-display camera”. This is how we confirmed that indeed, the rumours are true.
Samsung is careful about this new foldable device as it will come with an enhanced durability material. The body will be glass but not ordinary glass but a Gorilla Glass Victus. This will improve its durability. Also, the South Korean giant has added a new “Armor” to the hinge, bezels and display. All these are for durability.
Another thing is that the Z Fold 3 will come with a Hybrid S Pen support. The S pen is said to be more effective than the ones on the Galaxy Note 20 series. Another thing we spotted is the change in the rear camera module of the phone. The upcoming Fold 3 seems to have changed their tradition of coming with the Galaxy “S” series camera design. This new Fold 3 has a unique camera module. The vertical module is housing three sensors.
