The first render and key specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE have appeared online. It comes with a larger and taller body than the S21 but with the same thickness. The rear of the smartphone is likely made of glass but it will come with a shiny metal frame as per the leak.
Samsung first introduced the “FE” smartphone last year. For those who don’t know, FE stands for “Fan Edition”. The first fan edition smartphone introduced last year is the Galaxy S20 FE. The “FE” variant is normally the striped version of the flagship S20 series.
As it is a fan edition, Samsung tries to reduce the specs and the price, but still retain most of the standard S20 features. Galaxy S20 FE was a great success for Samsung and it seems they are about to do the same to the Galaxy S21 flagship this year.
The folks at Voice media have released the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone’s render and key specs. Looking at the renders, the S21 FE is very identical to the S21, both from the rear and front. It will have triple rear cameras and a centred punch-hole display.
The screen measures 6.4inches in diagonal and will spot a Full HD+ resolution. Galaxy S21 FE measures 155.7 x 74.5 x 7.9mm (9.3mm with the rear camera bump). Unfortunately, this is all the information revealed by the leaker. Since it will be a water down version of the S21, we can expect to see a 120Hz refresh rate, 128GB ROM + 8GB RAM, an under-display fingerprint sensor and a 5000mAh battery.
