A tipster on Twitter has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G will be launched in India this month. He didn’t mention the exact date but he said it will be at this month ending. The tipster also confirmed that it will come with 5G support and Snapdragon 750G.
Samsung Galaxy M42 5G has bagged several certifications and it has just gotten NFC certification on April 8. All the certifications revealed its specifications and it is even rumoured to be a rebadged version of the Galaxy A42 5G launched last year. If all the leaked specs of the device are anything to go by, then it will arrive with a 6,000mAh battery.
It will also come with a have a 64MP primary camera and 32MP selfie shooter. 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is expected but there could be other options at the launch. Snapdragon 750G chipset is already confirmed by the tipster, however, we expect an Android 11 OS out of the box. There is another report that mentioned AMOLED display and 90Hz refresh rate.
This is all the information currently known about the Galaxy M42 5G. If it turns out truly that it is a rebadged Galaxy A42 5G, then we expect a 6.6inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. Powered by the Snapdragon 750G chipset and runs on the Android 11 operating system. The rear of the smartphone houses a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor.
