On Tuesday next week, OnePlus will be live on the stage to unveil the OnePlus 9 series smartphone. We have been hearing lots of rumors concerning these flagship devices. The series is speculated to consist of the standard OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and the lower OnePlus 9R.
Over the past weeks, it is only the 9 and 9 Pro that has been talked about. Although we know that there is a 9R version around the corner which is recently speculated to be Indian’s special version. The OnePlus 9R is the lowest version in this series but the company has just posted something interesting on their social media handle.
They teased the OnePlus 9R device as a gaming-centric smartphone. According to them, “ Mobile gaming is about to level up. Get your game on this Tuesday, March 23 “. This shows that the gaming experience on the OnePlus 9R will be upgraded.
Also in the image they shared, we can see OnePlus 9R and two protruding shoulder buttons, which may be game-specific accessories. The device seems to promise a better gaming experience. We have seen some leaked specifications of the device over the past few days.

We know that the smartphone will be arriving with a Snapdragon 690 chipset, assisted by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. OnePlus 9R will also come with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 6.5inch Full HD+ display. As for the cameras, we don’t know the exact number of sensors that will be present on the device.
But leaks have revealed a 64MP as the main lens, and an 8MP as the ultra-wide lens. The smartphone will be powered by a 5000 mAh battery that supports at least a 30W fast charge.
