After all the leaks and rumors, the IQOO Neo 5 has finally been launched in China today. The smartphone comes with a punch-hole display with a minimal chin and bezels. It also comes with a quad rear camera with a dual led flash to support your low light photography. IQOO Neo 5 also has an AMOLED display which is fueled by a Snapdragon 870 chip. It is available in three configurations and a 4400mAh battery is powering the phone. Colour options are Black, Blue, and Gold.
IQOO Neo launch price
As mentioned earlier, the device is available in three configurations. The 128GB ROM and 8GB RAM variant is priced at 2,499 yuan ($385). Another variant with 256GB ROM and 8GB RAM is priced at 2,699 yuan ($415). Lastly, the 256GB ROM and 12GB RAM variant is priced at 2,999 yuan ($461). There is no mention of its Global availability or India availability. It is currently exclusive to China right now till further notice. You can get it in three colors which are Black, Blue, and Gold.
IQOO Neo 5 specifications and features
The IQOO Neo 5 smartphone comes with a 6.62inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 1300 peak brightness, and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The smartphone has a dimension of 163.3mm x 76.4mm x 8.4mm and weighs 196grams. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset which uses an Octa-core processor clocked at 3.2GHz. It is running on the Android 11 operating system with IQOO’S Origin OS skin.
There is no micro SD card slot. The rear quad-camera includes the main 48MP sensor, 13MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it comes with a 16MP selfie camera and it can record videos in 1080p@30fps. The rear camera can record videos in 4K@30fps though. An under-display fingerprint sensor is on-board for security. What is constantly supplying juice to this smartphone is a 4,400mAh battery. It supports 66W fast charging.
Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-c 2.0. Sensors include Fingerprint, Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass sensor.
