The CEO of Xiaomi has confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi 11 won’t come with a charger in the box. If you can recall yesterday, we shared with you guys the box of the Xiaomi Mi 11 that is placed side by side with the iPhone 12’s box. It looks to have the exact width as the iPhone 12’s box which made us think that it won’t come with a charger in the box.
Just today, the CEO of Xiaomi Lei Jun has taken to Weibo to confirm the absence of a charger brick in the box of the Xiaomi Mi 11 series. According to him, this movement is to reach its environmental goals. He also added that he is well aware that this decision may not be understood or even be criticized while stressing that it’s a better solution between industry practice and environmental protection.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 will be launched on Monday next week and he said that he will expand more on this matter during the launch. Probably give a lot of reasons while they chose to do that. We have learned a lot about the M11 smartphone this past few days. The smartphone will come with a Pro version dubbed Mi 11 pro.
Xiaomi recently confirmed that the phone will come with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, Harman Kardon audio experience, Wi-Fi 6E support, and more. The Mi 11 will be the first phone to be powered by Snapdragon 888 5G 5nm Mobile Platform. It is said to feature a punch-hole AMOLED screen with Mi 11 Pro featuring a QHD+ curved screen, 108MP main camera, and more.
The company has also teased the night mode capability of the Xiaomi Mi 11. In a video they released, the smartphone was used to record a toy moving around a Christmas tree while the Christmas song was playing in the background. Even though it was recorded in a dark environment, the video appears to be super bright and contrasty. The Mi 11 is really going to be a tough competitor to the iPhone 12 smartphone. Let’s keep on waiting for the official announcement.
